Students do not respect teachers: TRUE OR FALSE

It is frequently heard that students of this generation do not respect teachers. Is it so? Students do not respect their teachers OR the teachers nowadays are not worth respecting?? It is not entirely student's fault. Students of this generation are bolder and outspoken than their ancestors. Yes, I agree but they do respect a person who is a teacher in real. Mostly teachers focus on earning money specially school teachers have their own evening tuition centers. Teaching has been the profession of all the saints so if a person truly understands the spirit of teaching he will know that how big responsibility it is. All I will say is that teach from your soul and everyone will respect you. If a teacher says that students don't respect him then perhaps he should rectify himself.

Point to Ponder!!

While wondering through the streets of any metropolitan city like Lahore, Multan etc one will notice the number of educational institutions present. There can be three categories of schools, one comprising of Aitchison, Resource Academia etc, the other comprising of Educators, Allied etc and the third are those which are opened in every street and corner. Majority of the parents can not afford the fee of the first class schools. The ones they can afford do not provide the expected results. The main reason behind this is that the teachers are not paid well. Almost all of the middle class and low class schools give a maximum amount of Rs 15,000 per month which is not enough. This is the reason that the teachers are not dedicated, they do not give attention individually to students. Teachers are under so much work load and accordingly the salary is not enough. It is need of hour to give respect to this profession so that every teacher should deliver with honesty and dedication.
